November 29-30, 2019. Management wouldn’t even speak to me over the phone! We switched 5 rooms the 5th room I slept on the table and my friend slept in the bathroom, on tile. Only reason we stayed in that room is because we only saw track marks of the bug and not actual adult bed bugs. By the time we found a decent room it was 2am we were exhausted. Instead of handling the situation they overcharged us!! So the hotel has an infestation of bed bugs and we are getting over charged?!!! Yep makes total sense. The hotel knew they had a problem but did not want to shut down for the holiday weekend because it’s their busiest weekend. Especially, since everyone wants to ride royal blue. I have reported the hotel to the health department but I hope everyone that stayed this weekend is safe. The bed bugs are not the only problems, the linens in the rooms were filthy. Like house keeping only changes the fitted sheet and top sheet. The stains were disturbing considering these are white linens and they could be bleached. None of that was done. Negligence and failure to provide duty of care as a hotel.
