Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

American Airlines put me in this hotel on 3/23/18. I woke up itching at 2:30 am. When I turned on the lights there was a bed bug on my pillow. I switched rooms, but needless to say, I didn’t get any sleep. When I talked to the front desk the next morning, they said others had complained of bed bugs before and that I “wasn’t the first.” They said that since they had “just renovated,” they thought it was in peoples’ heads. I took picture of the bug and (some of) my bites and showed them. They believed me. I asked for follow up, but rather than taking my info and promising a call back, they gave me a manager’s cell. I decided to deal with the issue through AA instead.
