1. Saturday night, October 14, 2017. I felt itching at night and had a poor night's sleep because of the scratching. Got up at 5:45 to get to work at 6 a.m. on Sunday. I started to swell late morning: bites on both legs, both arms and face. 2. I called Comfort Inn at 23:30 p.m. Sunday to say that I had been bitten by bed bugs. The front clerk said "I'm sorry." I asked whether she wanted me to come by and show her my bites, and she said, "No, I believe you." I was told to call after 8 a.m. on Monday to speak with the manager. When I called in the morning, I was told that the manager did not come in until after 12:00 Noon. I left a message to have him call me. He did not. I managed to reach him Tuesday at 2:10 p.m. He claimed that they had visually checked the room on Monday and had found no bed bugs. He said that it was my responsibility to come down to the front desk in the middle of the night to report the itching (across a dark parking lot in my pajamas!). Since I hadn't, I had probably been bitten by mosquitoes or gotten bed bug bites from a patient at the hospital where I work.

Sept 18, 2023. Management said they would clean the bedbugs. They gave me another room. Red trail bites on my body.
