We stayed here one night from February 19th, 2017 to February 20th, 2017. It's definitely not the best hotel I've ever stayed at and the cleanliness could definitely improve, but it did not appear that the hotel would have bed bugs. We got a free upgrade to a king size room with a jacuzzi tub, but the tub wasn't very clean, two light bulbs were out along with a 3rd that had to be replaced because it kept turning off and on. The owners are extremely nice and these weren't things we couldn't live with so we didn't make a big deal. We woke up the next morning to a bed bug in the bed. Immediately called the front desk and checked the rest of the bed for any others. The beds have the covers on them so I doubt the mattresses are infested. But where there is one, especially still in the daylight, then there are more. They apologized profusely and gave us our money back and we hightailed it out of there. We plan to bag our items as soon as we get home and high heat wash and dry. Just praying we don't end up with any stragglers. Like I said, staff was very nice. I stay in Comfort Inns everywhere and this is the first time I've encountered such a dirty one. I just would never stay at this location again

I was woke up at 3:45am (thurs)this morning to my arm n wrist with welts and bites. I got my cell phone to see if any bed bugs was in the bed under the pillow because i slept with my arm under pillow. I saw a bed bug crawl in the bed but by the time i could get a cup. The bed bug crawl away. I told the clerk on duty she stated it not what you think it is despited me telling her it was a bed bug!
