I called after taking a shower to report that there was a bug found on the wall and also in the bed. Attendant even though staying there prev informed me that I must have carried the bedbugs there myself and was provided a new room per request the attendant then went on to explain if I saw them again in my room that my carry on luggage must be infested. I explained that even though I was a travel RN that I did not have these critters in my home nor could I have transported them with me.

I woke up after being sent home from work ill to find around 5pm upon awaking a flat dark bug on the wall that crawled from behind the mirror. In a panic I pulled the bed sheets off and found another bug howver this one was almost see through and more oval with a streak of red in his center. I immediately notified the front desk attendant that I needed her to come see right away. The hotel attendant came to my room shortly after and confirmed my worst fears. I then asked for a new room being what I though was discreet due to staying at the other end of the hall many times without issue or so I thought. The attendant implied that the bugs in the room were from my carry on because I travel however I dont have any of these friends at my home and I drive my personal vehicle straight from home to hotel period!! The attendant then proceded to tell me I could have picked them off my luggage from anywhere still implying I was the source of the bed bugs she then sprayed the one on the wall with a pesticide then swept away by hand onto the floor the bug I had killed in the bed. I told her I would be packing up and regardless I would no longer stay in the room. The attendant upon bringing me the new room key stated, "Well honey, if you see another bed bug its you!!!" Im really displeased as I liked going to that hotel for some time however after that fiasco and constant worry of potential infestation in my own home I will no longer be returning due to the fact the next morning leaving for work I see a known housekeeper and a male person taking out towels from my previous room and then approaching the room I just left lienens in hand!!! I shouted down the hall not caring for discretion anylonger stating,"I wouldn't do that!!!" To the man and he replied back "Why?" Its apparent no one was informed about the need for containment of this room and its contents nor did he heed my warning as I witnessed him walking directly into the "uncontaminated" room with my previous linens.
