October 18,2017 On our first night of our five night stay, we found bedbugs in our room in the middle of the night. The guy working the front desk that night was helpful and found us a room at a different hotel. Aside from him, we were less than impressed with how the situation was handled. We had to get our two babies up at 2:30 am to move hotels. We had to leave several items behind so that our luggage and car did not become infested as well. The manager the next morning was less than helpful. She told us that we would have a room at the new hotel for one more night and then we could come back to their hotel. This was not an option for us due to our experience with them so far so she told us that we were on our own. It took me calling the corporate office before arrangements were made for us to stay at the new hotel. As far as our belongings that we lost, we’re just out of luck. They offered to put them in the dryer to kill the bugs, however not everything we left would’ve been able to be put in the dryer. Also, if they can’t manage to clean a room and discover bedbugs before letting people stay in there, I sure wasn’t going to trust that they would put our belongings in a dryer at the correct heat for proper amount of time to ensure that the bugs were gone. These bugs were not difficult to see or find. This was a terrible experience and caused us a lot of extra stress and money just to get through the trip. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially with how management treated us after being made aware of the problem.
