6-14-19 went.to sleep around 1030 PM - was driving for 2 days and exhausted so didn't check beds before sleeping. Woke up at 1230 AM with multiple stinging bites. Checked and found at least a dozen bed bugs, including full grown adults, on beds. Bed bed excrement clearly visible on sheets of both beds. Person behind counter changed our rooms - new room appeared free. Did not give us laundry service but exchanged quarters for us. Next day management apologized and refunded rooms. When. The extent of the infestation was pointed out, including excrement on sheets and adult bugs, stated that no one else had complained and they didn't ever have an issue before. Staff claimed to have never seen signs of bed bugs before, or have much knowledge about what they looked for. Argued with info we provided that is easily verified on Internet, i.e. adult bed bugs take 5 weeks to develop. We then went and looked at our children's adjoining room, and saw excrement all over the sheet. Brought staff in to show them what it looks like, and was asked "well, where are all the bugs?" Pulled back sheet and saw 3 or 4 good sized bugs running around. 2 rooms with extensive infestation, staff seems ignorant about what to look for. Beware and check mattresses against wall. Man my dozen + bites itch! All clothes bagged up (at our expense) an treated w spray from nearby CVS. Hopefully we have taken steps to keep from bringing them home. Thanks internet!
