We stayed at OYO Hotel & Casino (formerly Hooters Hotel & Casino) from 2/22/20 - 2/26/2020. Upon arrival the rooms were noticeably dirty with hair in the bathroom on the floor, toilet, and tub, mascara on the pillow cases from the last guests, and trash in the trash can. We complained to the front desk supervisor, Angela, that day and were told housekeeping would be up to clean. They did not show. Every day we went to the front desk to inquire about the state of the room and to obtain new room keys as they stopped working, 8 sets of keys in 5 days. After the first night we noticed bites all over our feet, legs, arms, and neck. By the third day visiting the front desk to ask when housekeeping was going to clean the room and find out what they were going to do about the bites, we were told they do not have bed bugs, that we probably got the bites outside of the hotel, and that they only change the bedding every other day (we only stayed at that hotel as that was where we made our reservations and paid for them). This now being the third day was well past their "every other day" rule. I spoke with Tom Regan-Tomczak, Assistant Hotel Operations Manager, and was told that housekeeping reported that they cleaned the room. They most certainly had not been to the room. After later investigation it was determined that housekeeping stated that they could not clean the room at 3:56 pm as the guests were still in the room. However we had left the hotel premises around 11 am and did not return until roughly 5:45 pm, and did not leave anything hanging from the hotel door. By the 4th day I was being more demanding that housekeeping clean the room, the bites were getting more severe, and the room keys were becoming a huge deal. Tom stated that he would get the team of managers together to see what could be done. At that time, I requested a full refund of the room rate, hotel fees, and the price for the concert we missed due to the keys not working and not being able to shower in time due to housekeeping not showing up. This is now 7 days after our departure from the hotel and despite calling Tom every day and Lisa Krasn, Director of Hotel Operations, I have yet to receive a call back from either of them. We live in Michigan and had to fly with bed bugs in our luggage, on our person, and bites all over (so who knows how many other people have been infected). We have since spent money on the following: co-pay for a visit to the doctor, who confirmed they were indeed bed bug bites, paid for prescriptions for antibiotics, antihistamines, and hydrocortisone cream, lost pay from work due to the fact we both work in the medical field and had to pay for fumigation of each of our homes. I am at a loss for what to do next.

2/8/2022-2/9/2022 Woke up to over 20 bites on me, was able to catch 2 bed bugs crawling on the beds in a plastic cup and take them down to security. I filled out a report and they took photos of all my bites. The next day I get an email from their Safety Manager, Michael, saying they did an inspection on the room and no bugs were found, so "they don't know what caused my discomfort, but I can have peace of mind knowing it wasn't from bug activity in the room" which means they are totally denying it happened, despite me taking 2 live bed bugs down to them.

My husband and I stayed at your hotel from September 21 to September 22, 2024, in Room 451. Unfortunately, I woke up the following day with my entire body covered in bedbug bites, which made for a highly unpleasant and distressing experience. Management told us to file a report and called security because we wanted to talk to a supervisor. According to Nevada law, hotels are required to provide clean and hygienic accommodations, including bedding. This standard was clearly not met during our stay, and I am requesting a refund for the night we spent in your hotel.
