On Thursday, March 5th 2025 at around 10pm, our group checked into the Hampton Hotel. I was assigned to Room 142. Upon being there for about 30 minutes, my roommate discovered a bedbug on a pillow. Upon further investigation. we found another one crawling on the headboard of the bed. I went down to report it to the front desk and was offered a different room. However, my roommate and I did not feel comfortable and decided to check out and go to another hotel, When asked if bedbugs were a problem, the clerk at the Hampton had said that there was an incident but thought the problem had been resolved. He made a note to his manager. The next day the manager apologized and assured us of a refund. The others in our group decided to stay at the hotel and did not have a problem with bedbugs.
