My husband and I stayed at Sybaris Northbrook location on January 9,2025 room number 6. The next day we both noticed that my husband had bright red marks on the left side of his leg in multiple places. Upon further investigation, we realized that it was bed bug bites. We have never dealt with an issue like this before. We contacted the manager at Sybaris and express to her how this nightmare had put a toll on my mental and emotional health as I have phobia to bugs and insects. She was flat out rude and hung up on me. I have also tried several times to get in contact with someone from corporate which I did a few times and spoke to someone. She never reached back out to me and no one has since then. They rudely brushed us off and the whole situation. That goes to show that this business doesn't care about the consumers well being. The thought of knowing that we had slept on a bed where bed bugs were found is just atrociously disgusting! My husband who is a cancer patient suffered several bite marks that cause red inflamed itchy spots and have left a scar. They need to be held accountable for being unsanitary and negligent.
