Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Bed bugs found 12/30/2024. I originally reported 12/23/2024. No inspection until a week later (12/30/2024) No report or information relayed to me until 1/6/2025. They will not be treating until 1/13/2025. I have been out of my apartment for several weeks. The landlord says I am responsible and I will have to pay. They cannot make you pay without proof of the bugs being isolated to your unit. They have yet to inspect the rest of the building. The corporate office says they will inspect others the day they treat one apartment. They do not seem to realize how quickly these things become a big problem. Nor has the corporate office given me an official report of findings. They cannot legally charge me for treatment without further inspection and proper documentation.
