Me and my family (me, my daughter and her three children, 2 boys and one girl) were placed in rooms 129 and 130 due to unforeseen reasons. We are long term stay and was provided the room on September 25, 2024. After staying a couple of days 2 of the children had bite marks. We assumed they were mosquito bites because, they played outside. On October 7, 2024 my grandson came to me and my daughter saying there was a bug on the bed. We asked where the bug was and where it went. He said it was on the bed and went down the left side of the bed between the bed and the night stand. We went to inspect the bed and to find the bug. In the process of looking we saw one on the bed. I took a picture of the bug and my daughter killed it and put it in a cup and brought it to the front desk. The lady at the front desk said she had to call someone and she would get back to us. We all went in to room 129 and left the little bit of stuff we had in the room. On Wednesday October 9, 2024 one of the workers I believe he was housekeeping came down and advised us he was going to treat the room to take what we need out because we would not be able to go back in that room for 2 days. The worker and my daughter was in the room and the workers had two foggers. I along with my daughter have used foggers in the past for other issues so when my daughter saw what he was doing she told him he was doing it wrong. She actually had to show the worker how to use the fogger. My daughter had to wash all the clothing which cost her over 100 dollars, the hotel manager never offered to have housekeeping clean anything for us nor did he offer to reimburse us. Manager accused us of bringing in the bugs. Like we told him we were at another hotel before this with no problems. We go from one hotel to this one and have a problem. The person staying in room 132 had told me and my daughter she was getting bit by something since the summer. She also showed us her waistline where the bites are. She said she didn't say anything because she didn't want to end up in a position that we were in. So room 130 was only treated once and on October 24 was being cleaned by house keeping for the next guest even though the issue wasn't resolved.
