My daughter, her caregiver and I stayed at the Hampton Inn Tucson Airport October 4th and 5th, 2024. We had connecting rooms room number 133 and room number 135. My daughter and I slept in room 133. The day after checking out of the hotel, I noticed bed bug bites on both my daughter and I. I called the hotel to report the bites and ask for a refund for the cost of our rooms. The manager had the room inspected several days later and confirmed to me that there was a bed bug infestation in our room. I asked again for both rooms to be refunded because the connecting door was open most of the time and the caregiver's clothes were on our bed some of the time. Also, we had to throw away many of my disabled daughter's hygiene supplies and other items and wash everything in hot water and then a hot dryer. The management would not refund the cost of the second room.
