June 17-21, 2024; was bitten 6 times first night; 14 times second night; hotel had construction going on near room, asked management to check for spiders; report came back negative; had 22 bites third night; felt something at 4am 4th morning and found bedbug, killed it and took dead bedbug to reception 4th morning; had over 80 bites by this time; management comped entire stay; last bite now almost healed four months later.

We stayed at Twin Peaks Lodge for one night, from November 26th to 27th, 2024. Initially, our experience was pleasant—we even found the 90s-style hotel rooms amusing. The hot springs area and updated amenities were enjoyable and added to our positive first impression. Unfortunately, our stay took a turn for the worse when my husband woke up covered in bites along his arm. Two days later, I developed bites in the same pattern. After some research, it became clear we were dealing with bed bug bites. To their credit, management fully refunded our stay, but the aftermath was a nightmare. We had to go through the hassle of cleaning and treating our home and cars to ensure we didn’t bring the bed bugs back with us. The bites themselves were painful and took time to heal. While the amenities were nice, we cannot recommend staying here due to this issue. It was a frustrating and unpleasant experience that overshadowed any positives from our visit.
