Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

8/16/2024 Found live bedbug crawling on bed while asleep, killed it and brought to front desk and asked to switch hotel. There seems to be a lack of protocol for bed bug incidents. Front desk said it may not be a bed bug and claim they never had bed bug issues. I had the bed bug dead body to show her . I asked to switch to a different hotel, none available in the area, no offer to heat cycle clean anything, best they could do was to switch rooms . Asked manager to call back, nothing either. When I check out, they credit 1 night for my “inconvenience”.
