Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Incident: July 07-13, 2024 Company work - Saw bites on arm by end of week. Checked bed with droppings and moving red bug in pillowcase crease that ran behind bed. Notified clerk on check-out 07/13, called 07/15 and spoke to hotel clerk on concern. Manager to call - no call. Notified Hilton of bedbug issue. Manager called only to give points to stay and internal pest control of mosquitos. Multiple bites and hives reaction - took several days before getting severe reaction with medicine taken. The multiple bites take several days to show and the amount created an allergic reaction for well over a week after leaving hotel! No call back received of requested 3rd party cleaning! Manager was in a rush on call and hung up quickly. Manager noted he is closing case. No follow up received. Travel and employer notified.
