Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

First they put us in room 123 and before it was even dark I noticed a bug on the pillow. It had already bitten me once, we took a video and my husband squished it and it was full of blood. Alerted management they moved us into room 121. We tried to sleep but I was bitten 7 more times. Pulled off the mattress cover to find dirty mattress covered with bed big debris what looked like maggots and body fluids. Horrified we left the room and told them we could not stay. They said no one was there who could refund us. Stayed in the car that night. Contacted Expedia who contacted them with photos and they denied a refund. I just contacted their corporate office with photos and hope to hear from them that they will be refunding our room rate because we are still suffering from the bites from the couple of hours we were there and no solution has been offered at all.
