July 2024. Two tenants in the last 4 months have had confirmed cases of bed bugs. Management didn't tell tenants, the apartments were treated, and now other units are infested. The rental contract states that the landlord will be responsible for extermination if conditions require; yet management is making the tenants pay for their units to be sprayed. Management lied about the infested units, I live across the hall from one of the confirmed cases, management lied about the issue, and then when the issue spread across the hall he blamed us and said we have to pay for the exterminator even though our lease says otherwise, and there were 2 other infested apartments and instead of treating all units on the floor, or near infested units, he did nothing. I found a live bug on my mattress and put it in a jar after management gaslight me saying there was no problem. Myself and my son have woke up with horrible bites and management claims that I had the bedbug in the jar for this occasion, insinuating I keep a bedbug as a pet in a jar. He didn't tell new tenants or any of the infested units neighbors. Do not rent from these people.
