Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

6/1/24 .. We received BED BUG bites from this hotel. At first, we hoped we were being paranoid but then we found another recent review that stated the same. The staff didn't seem to care when reported it. Meanwhile, we are completely traumatized and hoping we didn't bring them home. This has cost us money to wash and dry our things and we are going to need to buy new luggage as we have another trip in a few days. The manager refused to speak with us upon check out and once again on the phone when I asked for a refund the next day. They refuse to issue one since they conveniently can't find any bed bugs. Room #207 if this happens to anyone else. I'm being treated as a liar despite another guest having the same issue. I've never had an issue at Holiday Inn Hotels before and am honestly shocked and disgusted by the poor customer service. As a manager myself, I cannot understand not even speaking to an unhappy guest.
