We stayed in room 123 at the Best Western Seaside Inn in Saint Augustine, Florida on May 4, 2023. Upon checking in staff was so friendly and nice. Per usual I did a super quick bed check. I’ve never dealt with bed bugs so I’ve never thought too deep into them. Upon preparing to leave hotels I ALWAYS strip down the whole bed to help housekeeping out as I was a prior housekeeper in a hospital years back. As stripping down the bed I came across a bug.. sure enough a BED BUG. I started panicking and looking and found a few more and immediately walked out to go tell the front desk. It was 6am so she told me she had to notify housekeeping and management and I could call back later to discuss with them. I have left two bad reviews and have called twice and am getting told management is not in and to call back later. Nobody has called me to apologize or to talk. I now have had to do the tedious process of cleaning my clothes and ruining some from high heat. And 5 days later my husband and I are starting to have bites show up.
