I am writing to report a serious incident of bed bug infestation that occurred in rooms 202 and 204 at your hotel on April 10th, 2024, at approximately 5:30 AM. I am providing this detailed report to bring your attention to the issue and request appropriate action to rectify the situation. Incident Details: On the aforementioned date and time, I discovered a live bed bug on one of the pillows in room 204. Alarmed by this finding, I immediately packed my belongings and proceeded to the front desk to report the incident. Coincidentally, another guest from room 202 also reported a bed bug on the same day, which they had killed. I did not kill the bed bug in my room, but I have photographic and video evidence of its presence. Evidence: I have compiled a collection of photographs and videos that clearly depict the live and dead bed bugs found in the rooms. These visual records serve as undeniable evidence of the infestation and the potential health risks associated with it. I have attached these files to this report for your reference. Health Concerns: Apart from the inconvenience caused by the presence of bed bugs, I want to emphasize the health concerns associated with these pests. Both the guest in room 202 and I have experienced bites on our hands and feet, indicating that we have been exposed to these pests during our stay. Furthermore, there is a significant risk of inadvertently carrying the bed bugs back to our respective homes, potentially infesting our personal spaces and exposing our families to these pests. After reporting the bed bug infestation to the hotel management, they initially expressed skepticism and disbelief regarding the photo evidence provided. They requested video evidence as they considered it to be more conclusive and reliable. In response to their request, we promptly provided the video evidence to support the claim. However, despite providing both photo and video evidence, the management still expressed doubt and questioned the authenticity of the evidence. In an attempt to resolve the situation, we invited the manager to come to the room immediately to witness the evidence firsthand. However, the manager declined our invitation, which left our team feeling frustrated and unheard.
