Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I stayed at Kompose Hotel March 18-20th 2024. Right before checking out of my room, I found a bed bug crawling on the sheets in the bed. I let the staff know and they replied “ewwww, we’ve had a number of other complaints about bed bugs!” They are knowingly booking rooms while the hotel is infested with bed bugs. I’m going to have to throw away all of my belongings so that I do not bring bed bugs into my house. I contacted their corporate office and asked them to compensate me for my ruined belongings (which totals about $1800) and they wouldn't. All they said they would do is refund me for my stay. Through the entire communication process, they were extremely unprofessional. Their problem quickly became my problem. I'm terrified bed bugs might have made their way into my home because of this.
