Arrived at comfort in and suites on 12/2/23 @ around 3pm. They were very nice upon check in. Got to room. Room TV wouldn't work. Staff came up and fixed it. My son found a bug on the desk next to the phone but i wasn't thinking bedbugs. He killed it and went on about his business. Time for bed and my son keeps itching all over. Enough that he wakes me up. I get up and find 2 bedbugs crawling on him. Make him stand-up and found 3 more. Squished them and they were full of blood. Contacted the front desk and her words were what floor are you on? I said 3rd and she said "oh yeah" offered to move us to a first floor room where " they hadn't made it there yet" told me I would have to talk to management about a refund. Did however take my children's blankets and run them in the dryer for 15 minutes. And gave us some black bags to put our luggage in so we didn't take them downstairs. We stayed long enough for it to get daylight then headed home. Tried to call and speak to the management yesterday and nobody was available.

August 23, 2024 We arrived August 19th, 2024, for a three day stay at this facility. On the second day there, around 3:30 or 4 PM, we discovered an infestation of Bed Bugs. This was politely reported to Desk Clerk who upon hearing and seeing pictures of these filthy creatures became very abusive, non-professional and physically violent. I asked to see the Manager, at that point the desk clerk became further enraged and began to curse and accused us of bringing in the bed bugs. I asked to be placed in another room and was told we would not be placed in another room, further we had to get out of "my" hotel. The desk clerk wasn't going to allow us time to pack or retrieve our clothes or luggage. We recorded her actions and that seemed to make her worse. This is the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed! I intend to report this incident to every State and Federal agency that is connected in any way with consumer protections, to include health and safety of hotel guests; and on behalf of employees who work in this unsafe and unhealthy work environment.
