BED BUGS! Bed bugs in Room 1. And nasty management. I checked in and was put in Room 1 around 8pm on Saturday, November 18. Within 2 hours I felt something on my arm and looked down to realize I had been bitten by a bed bug. I ran to tell the staff and 3 very kind workers came to see the situation with me. We were able to find a second bed bug, and they called a manager who was awful. She tried convincing the staff that the photos weren't from their hotel, when we were literally standing in front of the bed and they were there when I took the pictures and video. While we were in the room I examined the bed and found even more bed bugs on the bed, these ones even larger than the bed skirt. They said there had been fleas in the room previously from someone with a dog -- I doubt those were fleas, they were probably these same bed bugs. And these were CLEARLY bed bugs and the photos show this. The manager offered a property 20+ minutes away, then when I didn't want it she accused ME of bringing the bed bugs in because I travel - despite the fact that I'd been in the same apartment for the past month. They promised a refund and now won't respond of give it to me. This happened around 10:45pm, and when I tried to find the staff at 11pm, the front desk area was locked and everyone was gone. I do not believe the staff had done anything with the bedding or room -- I'm concerned by the lack of care that went into the situation or treating it with the gravity it deserves. I also saw on Google that there were several reviews about bed bugs 9-12 months ago, which makes me think they really aren't taking it seriously.
