Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

10/22/2023 We settled into the room pulled covers back and sat on our beds. I got up to get something and noticed a bug crawling on the side of the mattress. I immediately got a tissue and squished it. I then, did an internet search on bed bug images and found the bug to be a perfect match. We packed our things, reported the bed bugs to Hilton and the front desk, took a picture of the bug, and gave the dead bug to person at the Hampton inn front desk. Our money was refunded and we found another hotel.
