Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Stay away from Quality Inn Denver West - Golden, Colorado! They have bed bugs! I booked two rooms for the night of August 28, 2023. My wife and I stayed in room 317. My friend stayed in room 319. My friend had bed bugs crawling on him and biting him within one hour of going to bed. The motel management knew there were bed bugs in room 319, but rented it anyway. We did not see any visible bed bugs in room 317, but I woke up with three new bites the morning of August 29. The motel staff did move my friend to room 200. The motel manager was not going to refund anything, but finally gave in and refunded only room 319. The motel manager is not getting professionals in to treat the bed bugs. She is self treating, not getting rid of mattresses and upholstered furnishings.
