My wife and I took our daughter to this hotel and amusement park in Sandusky OH to celebrate her 4th birthday On July 21st. We were placed in a room completely infested with bed bugs. My wife actually woke me up at 4 am to show me the infestation crawling all over us and our daughter. They were everywhere and we have pictures. Needless to say we could not sleep! Our trip was ruined along with my daughters love for hotels. (The little stay-cation was all part of her birthday celebration)The hotel was reluctant to send anyone to the room and told us there would be nobody to help us until 9 am so we showered and left until then. After returning to the hotel I waited in the room for about an hour after calling the desk multiple times to send someone down. The woman that came was the housekeeping supervisor and she did see them and confirmed with the front desk that the room was infested. I was then told that there were no managers in until the following Monday and to call back to speak with them. The hotel has taken no action to compensate us despite me calling every couple days and leaving numerous voice mails with management. We have endured many setbacks due to what happened that weekend and now all three of us are covered in bites. I didn't realize they were a delayed reaction until they showed up a few days ago and itching like crazy! They are in groups of three and zig zag patterns so i know we got devoured that night.
