We checked in on the 13 of July in room 512 at Holiday In Express 525 North Jefferson St. Milwaukee Wisconsin 53202; we were in town for Harley Davidsons 120 Anniversary celebration. We had problems from the star. Then on the 14 I woke up with 2 bites on my arm but didn’t see anything until about 9pm I was laying in bed and the bug crawling on my pillow I put it in a plastic cup and took it to the front desk right away where they gave us new rooms on another floor and gave us quarters to wash and dry our clothes then I realized why our hotel room phone was melted because they knew they had bedbugs and they heated that room and that’s probably why we sweated our butts off the first night, it makes me so mad that they knew there was a issue and still put us in that room to make money, when we were packing all our things we looked over at my pillow and the bed bug were crawling on my pillow looking for me, I am allergic to bed bugs so my arms are covered In painful bites. I understand hotels will get these but I'm not ok with them knowingly putting people in a room when they haven’t made sure bedbugs are gone.They knew they were wrong, they didn’t even argue about refunding our money, they are a IHG hotel they should do better. In total I have about 15 bites on my arms neck and back my husband doesn’t have any not sure why they only went after me, there is obviously an infestation for bugs to crawl out in plain sight lights on and everything.
