On 5-13-23 my husband and I rented room #31 at Dogwood motel in Mountain View, AR. Approximately 10:45pm I saw a bedbug crawl out of a motel pillow and onto the bed. I took pictures and video and began packing our belongings while my husband went and reported the bedbug to Dogwood motel owner at the front desk. My husband requested a refund and showed the owner the video and pictures of the bedbug. My husband came back into room 31 and helped me gather our belongings to leave the motel. The owner barged into our room without knocking and he began pointing his finger at me and yelling at me and was very hostile. He was not happy I took pictures and video. The owner picked up the live bedbug and threw it out our motel door, outside. We got half a refund of what we paid and left the motel. We had to throw away most of our belongings to prevent bringing any bugs/eggs home with us. We also bombed our vehicle. It was an absolute nightmare!!
