Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Feb 2023 Sun Beach Properties did NOT handle bed bug situation professionally at all. Managment never called me back after she said that she would call me back, I always had to call her to talk to me. I woke up one morning with 83 bed bug bites. I later found out that the unit had been treated for bed bugs in past (which was never disclosed. One bedroom was treated and not the other bedroom or other rooms in the condo. The management company refused to give a full month refund, was not sympathetic and never cared about what we had to deal with this on our vacation. This vacation was a vacation from hell. We had to stay in a hotel during this time, had to throw out several clothes and luggage and was not reimbursed for any it. I do not recommend this condo complex and management company.
