I found a bed bug on the sheets on Feb 16 2023 8am, and a shed on the corner of the mattress. I didn’t look further since that was enough for me. I alerted the front desk after I brought them the bug in a water bottle and they said that housekeeping would look into it, and then they’d reach out. it wasn’t until 3pm after checking with them a few times that they had a new room for me. They said Orkin couldn’t come out until the next day and they gave me a new room. I told them when I went into the room to grab my bag I saw another bug on the bed, and they didn’t seem concerned, just embarrassed. They did apologize but didn’t provide any other customer service. I felt like a lot more should have been done, no refund offered or upgrade or anything. It’s a business trip for me so I didn’t push anything. My new room is dusty and less clean than the original

July 9, 2023 We found an adult bedbug in a bedroom in Viburnum this morning as we packed up to leave. When we checked the other cottage, we found them on the sole double bed in the back right bedroom. This bed had a hand sized hole in the mattress protector and multiple bugs surrounding it. Another large bug was found in the front right bedroom, the bed against the back wall. We did not find any on the other bed in the room, but noticed it did not have a mattress protector. We called the front desk to report and ask for large trash bags to transport our belongings. We were told someone would call us back. When we checked out an hour later, no one had called
