My fiance and I stayed at the Thunderbird on January 1st 2023 as a night to ourselves after going and having dinner and playing pool for something to do to start our new year off together and we were put in room 218. We were just hanging out in the room. We saw a bedbug on the pillow and we know for a fact that's what it was we checked the bed and didn't see anymore but we were a little nervous of what we would find though because we saw signs they had been there. We saw stains here and there on the sheets from them and we saw some black stuff or whatever color it was on the floor between the bed and night stand from whatever it is that is all around them when you see photos of them in their hiding space. When I went downstairs to tell them they denied it being a bedbug said there was no way that was possible and tried to act like maybe it was a flea from a dog that people had in the room the night before and said that they had to kick them out the morning of January 1st because they didn't know these people had a dog. But there is a major difference between fleas and bedbugs and when you know what bedbugs are and what they look like you know the difference and what to look for. They said they could put us in a different room but if they have bedbugs in one room and deny having them saying it's not possible then they likely have them in other rooms so we are never staying there again. Please check for bedbug reports online before getting a hotel and always checks for signs of bedbugs before bringing your stuff in and getting comfortable and if you don't know what the signs are or what they look like please do research so you can make sure.
