I was traveling to Leavenworth for my work. My date of stay was December 6-15, 2022. I was on my 8th night. I woke up about 4am to use the bathroom. When I turned on the light, there was a bedbug on my pillow. After I found this one, started to tear back the blankets and sheets and proceeded to find more bed bugs; most of the bugs were alive but I did see dead ones. I looked around the top and bottom edges of the mattress which is where I found most of the bed bugs. I took several photos and videos of the bed bugs. Needless to say, I could not go back to sleep. I got ready for the stay, packed my bags and went down to the hotel staff. I told them I needed a new room and was asked why. I showed the staff one of the videos of the bedbugs. Remind you, this was the 8th night stay. They offered to compensate me only for one night. The did give me new room (425). Of course, I naturally tore off all the sheets and blankets to see evidence of more bed bugs, but luckily I did not. I ended up staying there for my last and 9th night, but needless to say, I could not sleep. It felt as if bugs were crawling on me. Now that I returned home, the true damage of what the bugs did to me were apparent. I had over 30 bed bug bites all over my arms, chest, and back, but the most disgusting bites were on my face. I would not nor would I recommend anyone stay at this hotel; if you do, check for bed bugs before you unpack anything.
