Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I wanted to report a bed bug incident at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pflugerville, 1408 Town Center Dr Bld 1, Pflugerville, TX 78660. November 11 was when the bugs came out of our pillows around midnight. At this point, we already spelt one full night, November 10th. The daytime management did not believe us. They stated that their pest control team could not find any. The nighttime did believe us and told us to throw the pillows outside the building. They have cameras so there should be a record of that. We also found something like dead bed bugs or bed bug shells on the sheets. I'm not sure if it was possible but maybe we caught the bugs in the pillows before it started making nests in the room. No one could really confirm this. They also let me know that photos are not proof enough for bed bugs. My husband and I both have skin conditions where it's hard to find out if we were bitten by bugs.
