Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We checked in on 10/7/22 and I had one bite ony leg, which I initially thought was a mosquito bite, so disregard it as such. The following morning, I felt an itch on my leg and it woke me up. I got up and turned on the flashlight feature on my phone to check the bed, and sure enough saw a big bedbug crawling on the sheet. I woke up my wife, we caught the bed bug in a water bottle, and took it to the front desk staff. My wife, who was sleeping on the other bed with our kids, also had bites on her legs. Luckily, it seems our kids were spared. 5th floor of the hotel. Since it was Sunday, the manager wasn't on site and the hotel would not cancel my stay without cost.
