Checked in on August 22 2022 around 445 pm. Went to take a nap and was awoken to severe itching. Checked bed thinking a spider and a bed bug was in it. I notified front desk and they switched rooms for me. I request pest control for new room and the desk contacted manager H who declined the request and said if I was not happy with the new room I could leave. I was happy with new room but wanted to ensure it was safe. So after a 5 hour drive, 1.5 hour wasted to put everything back into my car, get switched into new room, I spent another 2 hours googling and searching so I could try and have peace of mind. I didn't see bugs in new room but couldn't sleep as anytime a hair on my body moved or any sensation, I was checking the bed again. The manager H next morning refused to provide proof of cancellation, refused to provide name of pest agency he claimed to have coming out and called the cops on me because I requested to speak to someone higher than him and he refused to prove it. This was day 1 of a 5 day vacation to DC. So I had to pay for another hotel, spend a good part of day 2 figuring out where to stay, move and get settled. H wouldn't even apologize. I have video and picture proof.

I checked in at 9 pm 4/12/24 and walked into a dirty room with dust. When getting into bed there were bed bugs on the pillow. I notified front office who replied that the manager was not there until the morning and that the manager had inspected it Before check in. They acknowledged this was a known issue and offered me another room. I asked to inspect the other room and they said that was not Possible. I would just have to Blindly accept. I left the “hotel” at 11:30. I was denied a refund at that time. I have pictures and left the bed bug in a zip lock bag to the receptionist.
