On August 8, 2022, I stayed at this Air BnB location. The accommodations appeared to be clean, however, I noticed what I thought were small beetles on the bed after I awoke later in the night. Upon further inspection (and after putting my glasses on), I realized they were bedbugs and there were all 5 stages of insects visible on the top of the bed. I contacted the owner of the property as well as Air BnB corporate about this situation. Over the next 16 hours, I had various text and phone conversations with Air BnB helpline. I was instructed (16 hours after the incident was reported) that I would have to cancel subsequent reservations so the bedbugs would not be transmitted. I assumed the host would also be required to complete some form of treatment of the property to prevent others from having to deal with the bedbugs, but when I checked on the Air BnB website the property was still actively available for reservation.
