Checked in on May 26, at approx 7 pm. The room was a two room suite, to be shared between 2 friends on a road trip. Room number 215. One person gets the bed and one person the pull out couch. I checked the bed originally by pulling down the sheets, bed pad and checking under the corners of the mattress by the attached to the wall headboard. I did not notice anything recognizable. It was a long day of driving so I was laying on top of the covers, on my left side, in the middle of the bed watching TV. I had a book on the covers beside me. I laid there like that in a sleepy daze for about 20 min, in full light. Then looked at my book and there was a large reddish bug crawling on the spine. I quickly got up and looked at the pillows. There were several small bed bugs crawling on the pillows. One crawling on the bedside table. I immediately got up and went to the front desk. Told them. The first thing the manager said was did I get a picture, I had not yet at this point, and then they immediately switched us to a different room on a different floor. I tore apart the bed with my friend, who had been out up to this point and we took pictures of the infestation. There didn't seem to be a lot of the bugs, but that can be hard to tell. In the new room I systematically stripped the bed and went through the every inch of the sheets, bedding, checked the pillows and pillowcases thoroughly, removed the mattress and lifted up and checked both beneath box springs. The room, 315, was as clean as I could tell. We slept there and kept early on May 27 to keep driving. By morning on May 28, I had developed a bunch of huge, itchy, red welts all over my left side. Mostly concentrated on my left arm, hand, neck and head. They are extremely uncomfortable and have made it difficult to sleep.

August 10, 2022 There was one large bed bug seen and over a hundred small ones. Management did not cooperate with a refund and allowing us to check out. We are fighting it.
