June 17, 2022, 11 pm Daughter and I checked into 2 rooms 30 min. later daughter found a bed bug on the corner of the bed. Presented it to manager - he gave us breakfast coupons, told me that I could call hotels.com where I booked, they would contact the hotel for approval, then I would get refunded. He moved us to new rooms on the 11th floor. Daughter was freaked out and stayed in the bathtub. At 3:30 am she relented and went to bed - found a bed bug on her pillowcase. We presented the 2nd bug to the AM manager. She disagreed it was a bed bug but said she would have pest management come out that day. She told me she would email me that report. She repeated what the night manager said - they would give approval to hotels.com to issue a refund. I never received the pest management report. After many phone calls to hotels.com and to the hotel, I received an email from hotels.com stating that the hotel disapproved my refund.
