I checked in said hotel on 5-5-2022. 2 beds in room but beds were not clean sheets had hair and other particles on them upon entering the room. The next day which would be 5-6-2022 I woke up with red swollen marks on my elbow then on my arms even the bottom of my foot. I paid for a week at this hotel so my checkout date is scheduled for 5-12-2022. On today which is 5-10-2022 I spoke with housekeeping who confirmed that I did in fact have bed bug bites and stated that they have spray to treat them and that they would speak with management about possibly changing the room out. I had to pick up my child from school and when I did get back to the hotel housekeeping was no where to be found So I reported again to the front desk again to no avail. I have consulted with a lawyer because my body is having marks that looks as they will be permanent and the swelling won't go down even though I have bought otc meds to treat the itching and swelling associated with the bites. I have plans to seek medical care due to the severe bites. My hands and feet are also swollen and have bites in several places. I asked to file a incident report and wrote a review online with no further actions being taken. I was told by the lawyer to report it to the health and sanitation department which is what I am doing now. I have to get the full names of management and housekeeping as well as a report as to when room was last cleaned. This is one of the most horrible experiences Ive had stay at this hotel and would like to be compensated for the pain and suffering these bites have caused. I don't want another room or more sheets because I now don't feel safe and I paid $550 for the week to basically be eaten alive. Nobody else deserves to suffer like I have.
