On Thursday 4/29 my daughter and I went to bed in the bottom bunk and felt itchy immediately. She had a difficult time falling asleep because she kept itching her legs. I noticed my back was itchy as well. Once she was asleep I looked in the mirror and found that I had six bug bites on my back and one on the back of my arm. It was late so I didn’t not call the front desk. The next morning my daughter found a small bug in her bed. We immediately tried to get in contact with someone from the hotel and had a hard time. They did not answer the phone, there was only one person at check in with a line so I had to call and pretend that I wanted a new reservation to finally get someone. They came to our room and pretty immediately told us we had to leave. They took us to a private office to discuss what happened but would not immediately say it’s bed bugs. They told us we had to leave out stuff and they would move us rooms. We went to legoland all day and called multiple times to check in. We were told all of our stuff had been moved to a new room. We get to the hotel around 1020 and end up waiting after being told we wouldn’t have to. We finally get to the counter and the girl tries to give us the keys for the same room again. I had to call the manager and wait over 20 minutes to figure out what was going on because no one knew what room were in. Finally they figured it out. I have asked for a report SEVERAL times and they will not provide it. Also we had crayola things such as drip art my daughter made in the room And none of it melted so I’m very skeptical that they even heat treated our room. No refund has been offered yet.
