Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I stayed at the Lemontree hotel in Anaheim on March 1st I checked in. I was given room 119 as requested a room with a hot tub in it. All seemed fine, but in the morning I had bites on me. I have stayed there before so I assumed it was a spider or something from outside. But it got worse the next day, Again I thought something like a mosquito made a buffet of me as they often do but on the 3rd morning I went to a local urgent care and was told it was bed bugs. We packed right away and checked out. I told them about it when I checked out and have not been able to reach the hotel.
