Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

10/7/2021 My aunt found bedbugs in her room at this retirement community. The management paid for the treatment, but my aunt had to pay for her own hotel and a new bed and do tons of laundry in hot water. The management told her if it reoccurs, she'll have to foot the very large bill for treatment. She barely just moved here this year. And now I'm scared to visit. I can't be bringing that stuff back to my apartment! Great situation for a lonely old woman to be in...people scared to visit her for fear they'll bring home bedbugs!
