The Aiden By Best Western was formerly Scottsdale Suites on Shea (2017-2019), and Country Inn & Suites By Carlson (1996-2016). I personally stayed at the Aiden in mid-June 2021 and planned to stay for one week. On day 5 the stay was cut short, due to the discovery of two Bed Bugs crawling in the 2nd floor stairwell at the east-rear of the building. I took photos, and while checking out the clerk was more interested in arguing the manner of billing. My company paid over 600$+ cash, which if fine, but they kept using my credit card to "ensure" the cash (annoying), and they raised the room rates during mid-stay, that's also fine, but the clerk kept making arguments to the point where I just wanted out of there. Accordingly, the Bed Bug issue went rebuffed. I figured an exterminator would catch issue somewhere down the line, until a professional recently told me that Bed Bugs lay (insecticide resistant) eggs in unreachable areas, they can carry MERCA, and remain dormant. Hence, this belated report out of concern for fellow travelers.
