Bed bugs in room 104, beware. Ended up getting a room here on 5/26/21 at 2am on our drive down 95. When we called the hotel, the lady on the phone was super sweet and helpful and made sure everything would be ready for us on our arrival. Things were great until we went to bed. My partner woke up in the middle of the night covered in bites. I was lucky enough not to get bitten and slept through the night. It isn't until morning that we noticed the bed bugs in the bed, engorged with my friend's blood. When we brought this up to the reception the lady said, "oh, sorry." She clearly couldn't have cared less. She didn't say anything else and never even talked about inspecting the room or ensuring the issue is appropriately taken care off. When I asked for a partial refund, she explained she could not give us any type of refund as we had used a third party link (which she sent to our phone when we initially called in that night) to pay for our stay. Yes this is a budget hotel, but the rooms could use some fixing. Walls are scratched, paint is chipping, baseboards are coming off and the room smelled like smoke.
