July 27-august 2nd we were given a room that had recently been renovated. Looked nice didn't notice any bugs. Problem was the TV didn't work. We had paid for a week and after 24hrs of no TV and no one to fix it (manager was out of town) I asked to move rooms. The son was rude told me no way we could move rooms. We would have to wait until the manager came back to fix the TV. Finally his mother came out and agreed to move us to another room. The TV worked but I immediately noticed bugs in the room. They were crawling everywhere. Every time I turned on the water in the bathroom sink they came out of the hot and cold faucets. They were coming from inside the walls. They were all over the floor. Then when I checked the bed they were everywhere. We had bites all over arms and legs. Unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to complain about the bugs to management. Ended up having to take my husband to the hospital. Because of previous health issues. When he was discharged we still had one night left in the hotel. But never returned because the bugs were so bad. I'm sure the reason they didn't want to move us was because all of the other old rooms were infested with bedbugs.
