Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I woke up with a couple of bites on Wed, 7/21/21. A few minutes later, I spotted a bug crawling across my comforter and quickly identified it as a bedbug. I took the dead bug down to management before leaving for a conference. They switched my room, and when I spoke to the manager after my meetings, she informed me they had given me points. The second room was filthy so I moved again. I also fought for more points because what they provided wouldnâ€™t even cover one nightâ€™s stay. Iâ€™m still in discussions on that. I am covered with bites on my upper arms and still have some festering up two days later.
