Hi we have stayed multiple weeks at the location (Nov. 2023) and decided to get a double bed room (231) to have more space and comfort. Upon switching to the new room from (234) a single bed room we were please with the appearance of cleanliness and the extra space. After the first night stay my sig. other complained about skin irritation but I assume it was associated with the bleaching product they use on the sheets. Upon further examination he did have some small bumps but still didn’t think anything of it. The next morning he woke me up yelling about bed bugs. Smh. Here we go. So we report to the front desk letting them know that we are not trying to offend but we have pictures and videos of bed bug. We were told they would spray the room. So we stayed another night. The next morning he still sees bed bugs. He goes down to speak with the front desk and they tell him that I said there were no bed bugs in the room and that is why they DID NOT SPRAY the previous day. At this point we are ready for the refund and hopefully we will receive it. We understand that there are some issues such as this that the Hotel cannot control and we do not shamed them for that, however, it is the lack of response and care, and then to be told that we are a problem, customers and that we are not wanted. That was hurtful after spending thousands of dollars at this location over the last few years when we visit Augusta for work. While property is nice, there are better and more accommodating places to stay and we are looking forward to moving somewhere else.

Check in on 6/7/2021 Around 4am I was awakened by bites and itchy place on my arm. I got up to take a look at it an I was covered with bed bug bites! I pulled the mattress cover back to find stained sheets with what appeared to be mole. I called the front desk to report that I had been bitten by bed bugs. The front desk clerk ask what room and said she would pass it on to the manager. No apologies or nothing. I slept in the chair after that. That morning on the 6/8/021 I spoke to the manager and she never apologized or anything she went to look at the room I got out of the car and went behind her she took the covers off I told her about the bed bugs again and she said bed bugs couldn’t bite thru sheets! I lift up my shirt and showed her the bites and asked her what else could have bitten me? She said not bed bugs . I asked for a refund she never responded, just keep saying no bed are in the room. Everything sucks, don’t book a room here. The bugs will kill you and management don’t CARE!
