Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My sister , daughter, and I stayed at the Garden Cabin at Inn a Cabin 11/21/20-11/23/20. Upon arrival home I noticed 3-4 distinct bite marks /red itchy welts on the back of my left upper arm . The next day my daughter had 4 welts on her forearm abs since I have developed welts on my back, shoulder, wrist, and elbow. My daughter has developed welts on her arms , neck , and face, and my sister developed 2 on her forearm. I sent pictures to Inn A Cabin owners and told them of the bites which we are sure are bed bug bites and demanded a refund . The Hartzlerâ€™s refunded the full cost of the cabin rental but welts keep developing in myself and daughter and we are extremely stressed and worried about the bed bugs traveling home with us and infesting out homes and my car . I have rented cabins in hocking hills for 21 years and have never had this problem! The cabin wasnâ€™t well maintained but the bed bug situation is horribly affecting us.
