Date/Time of incident: 7/20/20 @ approx. 0830. Management had an pest control inspector look at the apartment on 7/22/20. At that time, they did see movement of bed bugs. Another inspector came the next day at the apartment below and didn't find any movement, despite the fact that there was photo evidence of one bed bug did reach the apartment below. More were found on Friday. Let management know that this needs to be resolved sooner than later, but they stated that no one would be able to come out until 7/27/20 @ approx. 1000-1100. Monday came and management did not show up until 10, but that they dropped the ball and did not set the appointment. At this state, frustration has kicked in. Have found many more bugs, found one on the bed, so no longer sleeping in the bed. Will have to replace the mattress and box spring. Don't know if any other units have been affected. Have not seen any signs to let other tenants know of the bed bug issue. Very concerning. The property manager stated that this was grounds to break the lease without penalty.
